During The Fight

Cuts: The chance of a boxer being cut is greatly influenced by, amongst other things, his ‘cut resistance’ statistic. There are various levels of a cut, with a fight being stopped by a referee when a cut is deemed to be ‘dangerous’. Cuts can be slight (least damage), through to ‘open’, then ‘severe’, and finally ‘dangerous’ (most damage). A cut can start at any level (including ‘dangerous’ which means that the fight is stopped immediately for the boxers safety), and may develop through the course of a fight. Cuts may be further aggravated by opponents fighting dirty.

End Of Round Recovery: Every boxer’s condition improves very slightly between each round as his corner wield their magic. Boxers recover less as their condition deteriorates.

Zero Condition: Once a boxers condition reaches zero, they will be knocked down and their resilience tested. If their resilience is successful, they will get back to their feet and be slightly revitalized. However, if the resilience check fails, the referee’s count will reach 10 and the boxer will have lost the fight by knockout.
