SB Update v2.7

This announcement is to let you know that is update is now live.

Trainers as we know it will no longer exist. Both Offensive and Defensive trainers will now be removed and replaced with a number of trainers from each level.

Trainers

New SB Trainers help your boxer both in the ring and the gymnasium. Each trainer has a name, age , level and set of stats which will add to your boxers normal game stats to enhance performance. Trainers are valued by their level and the number of skill set points they have.

Note: Old Level 5 trainers DO NOT match their new counterparts so be aware !.


Skill Set Points

1) General Integrity
This is essential bonus from a trainer. The higher these stats are then the better your boxer will perform in the ring.

2)Stats Bonus
Stats Bonus will be added on top of your normal stats in-fight to improve performance.

3)Punch Type Bonus
Punch Type Bonus will be added on top of your normal punch type stats in-fight to improve performance.

4)Punch Guard Bonus
Punch Guard Bonus will be added on top of your normal punch guard stats in-fight to improve performance.

5)Corner Bonus
Trainers assist the boxer in-fight by motivating and his experience helps increase your recovery of condition and stamina between rounds.

6)Natural Talent Bonus
These bonuses are added on to your natural talents in-fight which improves performance.

7)Training Influence
These stats increse your chance of weight gain as well as natural talent, punch targetting, punch guard and speciality adjustments.

8)Stats Training Bonus
These stats are added to your normal training stats to increase the amount of points earned at a training session.


Trainer Evolution

Trainers gain 50% of what their employing boxer earns in experience after winning a bout. When the trainers experience gets to 100% then the trainer gains a level and enhances his skills slightly. Note that this increases the trainers market value accordingly. Trainers aged 60+ may decide to retire at any time. Also their is a small chance that your trainer will suffer major illness and die. In such cases the employing boxer will be refunded the trainers contract cost as compensation.

Employing your Trainer

Trainers can be found in the Explore City / Trainer Market part of the site. You will find a number of search filters which will make it easier to narrow down your search and find the right trainer for you.

Trainer contracts last for 1 SB year (28 days).

You can only employ a trainer that matches your boxers level and below. When you have employed a trainer then you can view him in the locker room.

If a trainer moves up to a higher level during your employment then he will stay contracted but you will also have to move up a level to re-hire him for another year.

During your employment of a trainer you can extend their contract in the Locker Room providing that you have enough money and your boxers level matches the trainers level or more.

At the end of the trainers contract he will leave you and return to the trainers market if you have not extended his contract or if your boxers level is less than the trainers level.

When and what to expect

The release time of this new update will be announced first so that all boxers have equal choice of the trainer market to make things fair. Just before launch you may not be able to login to your account while we make the neccessary adjustments to the system.

When the update goes live then all boxers will be refunded the total cost of their existing trainers.
On the first time of login you should then goto the Trainer Market and hire a new one before any spar/pro bouting takes place.

Training Points

You may notice that Training points have also changed. The calculation now incorporates age as one of its factors. Also added is your trainers 'Training Points' bonus.
